Our servers can handle any type of website you can imagine , But we had to impose some limits for legal reasons and help our customers get the best of or service.
So we don't allow the following sites on our servers: Adult sites, Sites that distribute illegal materials and violate copyright laws, File Storage Sites and Video Storage/Tube Sites

What is bandwidth and how much do you need?

Bandwidth is the amount of data that is accessed while viewing a website. Every time a user views a website, data is transferred, and the measurement of that transfer is bandwidth. In general, images, audio files and video files are higher in bandwidth than text. That means that if you have a more burdensome website in terms of bandwidth.

What is disk space and how much do I need?

Disk space refers to the total space available for a user to store files on at any time. Files may be any type - HTML, images, CSS, Javascript – and at any single given time, the total file size may not exceed the disk space. How much disk space you need is dependent on what type of media and interactions you’ll be hosting through your site.

What is subdomain name?

Subdomain names are Web addresses created by adding a third-level domain to your existing domain name. For example, hahucloud.com might have the subdomains my.hahucloud.com or blog.hahucloud.com.

What happens if I don’t renew my domain name on time?

If you don’t renew your domain name by the due date, it will go through several stages before it becomes available for others to register. Here’s what typically happens:

1. Grace Period:
   After the renewal date, there is usually a short grace period, typically lasting 15 to 30 days, where you can still renew the domain at the standard renewal price without incurring additional fees. The length of this period can vary by registrar.
2. Redemption Period:
   If the grace period expires without renewal, the domain enters a redemption period, usually lasting around 30 days. During this time, the domain is deactivated, meaning it will not function for websites or email. Renewing the domain during this period incurs a significantly higher cost than the normal renewal price, as a penalty for late renewal.
3. Pending Deletion:
   After the redemption period, the domain enters a pending deletion phase, typically lasting five days. During this phase, the domain cannot be recovered or renewed.
4. Availability for Registration:
   Once the pending deletion phase is complete, the domain becomes available for anyone to register. At this point, there is a risk that someone else may register the domain, which means you could permanently lose ownership and control of it. This could impact your business or personal brand if someone else takes your domain name.

What is Content Delivery Network (CDN)?

CDN is short for content delivery network. A content delivery network (CDN) is a system of distributed servers (network) that deliver pages and other Web content to a user, based on the geographic locations of the user, the origin of the webpage and the content delivery server. This service is effective in speeding the delivery of content of websites with high traffic and websites that have global reach.

If I have my site designed myself can I still host with you?

Yes, Absolutely! We would love to host your site regardless of who designed it.

How will I know how many people visited my site?

You can find out how many people visited your site through a number of different third party resources, such as Google Analytics. Some hosts provide easy ways to incorporate these tools into your website to start tracking, but some don’t give you any help in setup at all.

How do I pay?

We accept payments through CBE Birr, Amole Wallet, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia, Dashen Bank, United Bank of Ethiopia and Wegagen Bank. Once you make the deposit and confirm your payment, your domain will be registered and your hosting account will be active and running within 5-10 minutes.
